As a mother of two young children, I understand the importance of developing a child’s physical, mental and emotional health. My love for yoga, as well as seeing the positive impact it has had on my children, inspired me to become a certified children's yoga instructor. I have completed certification with both mini yogis and Rainbow Kids Yoga. In addition to my yoga training, I hold a Master of Arts in Human Services from St. Edward's University.

Little Turtle Yoga offers children the ability to benefit from yoga in a way that is right for them. Our classes are fun and non-competitive. We use games, storytelling, music and imaginative play to develop confidence, flexibility and strength in children of all ages.

Classes incorporate lessons in self-acceptance, interpersonal skills, positive thinking, personal awareness and environmental awareness to create a balanced well-being in children.

A regular yoga practice will help your child develop flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition to the physical benefits of yoga, you will see an improvement in your child's ability to concentrate and self-calm.
